KSP: Drug Usage Suspected In Collision

Posted: Updated:

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) KSP says that drug usage is suspected to be a factor in a collision on Wednesday morning.

They said that a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by 35-year-old Kimberly K. Owens, of Mallie, was traveling west when troopers say Owens crossed the center line and struck a 1997 Volvo commercial vehicle head on. That vehicle was driven by 62-year-old Feldon C. Bush, of London.

Owens was flown to UK Medical Center where she is being treated for her injuries.

Bush was uninjured.
