UPDATE: William McFarland was arrested at a home on Brooks Road without incident October 20. He was charged with escape 2nd degree. 

MADISON COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) Jail staff confirm that they are still looking for one of two inmates that ran away from the Madison County Detention Center.

41-year-old William K. McFarland, of Richmond, and 34-year-old Samuel Geames, of Berea, made their getaway by jamming a door with two empty rolls of toilet paper, according to Jailer Doug Thomas.

Both men were serving time for unpaid child support and were set to be released in the next few weeks.

Geames was picked up Thursday night in Berea. Both men now face a new felony charge of escape.
