Anderson Co. Road Closed For Hours After Crash

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) Glensboro Road in Anderson County was blocked for more than four hours after a fatal crash that killed two. 

Police say that one person was dead at the scene and two more were taken to the hospital after a head-on collision between a motorcycle and an SUV. One of the two later died at the hospital. 

The Anderson County coroner identified the two victims as 63 year-old Gus Ettinger and 66 year-old Betty Sue Rice. 

The coroner said both people who died were on the motorcycle. They were both from Franklin County.

The State of Emergency has been declared due to wind damage, trees being down, and major road blockages.  Emergency Management crews are telling people to stay out of Woodford County unless you have to come in.
