Posted: Updated:

LANCASTER, Ky (LEX 18) A man who police say was dealing drugs near an elementary school was arrested last week.

Officers say 63-year-old Bobby Shumaker was parked in the pickup line at Lancaster Elementary last Wednesday when he got out of his vehicle, walked to the end of the street and sold drugs behind a service station.

Police say he then threw 10 Hydrocodone tablets in the parking lot of the school.

Officers were able to get a search warrant the next day and say they found 2,300 prescription pills in the home with over $8,000 in cash.
