Families Can Sign Up For Annual Holiday Toy Program

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX18) - Lexington families in need can sign up to have a brighter holiday season thanks to the Lexington Fraternal Order of Firefighters.

Beginning Monday, Nov. 6, families of children 12 and younger can register to take part in the 2017 Lexington Fire Department Toy Drive. This year's "North Pole" collection center is at Hands On Originals, 1729 Jaggie Fox Way.

To take part in the annual program, families need to provide proof of residency in Lexington, a valid state ID or driver's license, a utility bill showing same address as the ID and birth certificate or guardianship documents for the participating children.

Signup times are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays; and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays.
