Matt Panton, who has averaged 42.8 yards a punt with 17 inside the 20 this season, and has 5 punts at least 50 yards, has been suspended by Mark Stoops for Saturday's game at Vanderbilt.

Matt Panton, was arrested for public intoxication following UK's loss to Ole Miss Saturday.

Grant McKinniss, last years punter who lost the job to Panton when he transferred to Kentucky, has to punt.  The problem for McKinniss is, UK was going to redshirt him this season to get him an extra year of college football.

McKinniss told Stoops that he was willing to give up that extra year if it meant helping the team.  It's possible that McKinniss will punt in only one game this season.

Panton’s arraignment is scheduled for Nov. 20.
