Ex-Fayette Clerk Allegedly Altered Traffic Citations

FAYETTE COUNTY, Ky. (The Herald Leader)-- A former deputy clerk was indicted by a grand jury last week on numerous counts of tampering with public records.

Court documents indicate James Anthony Blythe, 26, altered traffic citations and admitted to “pocketing some of the cash he was given as payment” in relation to 10 cases on or around July 20.

Restitution to district court was calculated at $2,198. He is scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 17.

The State of Emergency has been declared due to wind damage, trees being down, and major road blockages.  Emergency Management crews are telling people to stay out of Woodford County unless you have to come in.
