Two Injured In Laurel Co. Crash On KY 1394

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) The Laurel County Sheriff's Office is investigating a single-vehicle injury crash that happened on KY 1394 Wednesday evening. 

The investigating deputy reports that a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling west around 5:15 p.m. when an animal ran in its path, causing the driver to swerve and run off the roadway, hitting a fence and a barn. 

The driver, Mary Napier, was airlifted to UK Medical Center with serious injuries. The passenger, Karen Napier, received critical injuries and was airlifted from the scene to UK Medical Center.
