(NBC News) Warner Bros. TV Group has fired Andrew Kreisberg following allegations by 19 people of sexual harassment and inappropriate contact, NBC News reports.

Warner Bros released a statement on Wednesday that the decision came after an internal investigation.

Kreisberg was the executive producer of CW shows 'Arrow', 'Supergirl', 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow', and 'The Flash'.

"We remain committed to providing a safe working environment for our employees and everyone involved in our productions," Warner Bros. TV group said.

Variety first reported that 15 women and four men claim Kreisberg had engaged in a pattern of sexual harassment and inappropriate physical contact over the years. These sources were not identified but claimed to have worked with the producer.
