Anthony Davis is Ejected for First Time in His Career
Former University of Kentucky Forward, Anthony Davis received his first ejection of his career in the game Wednesday night against Minnesota.
The Pelicans forward already had one technical foul for arguing a no call on his shot when he went up to block another former Wildcat, Karl-Anthony Towns. Davis was called for the foul and immediately protested and started toward the referee when teammates held him back. It was too late, he picked up his second for the ejection.
Davis then went toward the official again before he finally left the floor throwing his headband down on the ground and taking his jersey off in the tunnel.
At the time of his ejection, Davis was leading all scorers with 17 points to go along with five rebounds.
Davis' first ejection came one night after LeBron James received his first.
