Select Dairy Queens To Host Benefit For Lions Eye Bank

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)-- Some area Dairy Queens are partnering with the Kentucky Lions Eye Bank for a good cause.

Beginning Thursday, Dairy Queen locations will host benefit dinners from 5 p.m. til 9 p.m.

Proceeds from each dinner will go to the Lions Eye Bank.

The dinners will be held the last Thursday of each month through next May.

"This will help us be able to purchase needed equipment to be able to do our jobs so we can educate the population about the need for people to donate their corneas when that time comes and provide the gift of sight to those in need," said Robert Gayhart, Business Development Director of Kentucky Lions Eye Bank.
