Convicted Murderer Denied Parole

Posted: Updated:

LA GRANGE, Ky. (LEX 18)--  A parole board has decided not to grant parole in the case of a man convicted in one of Lexington's most infamous murder cases.

The board voted that Keith Bouchard serve out, "A serve out means the inmate will never come before the parole board again. They are ordered to serve out their life sentence."

Bouchard was one of three people convicted in the 1986 murder of Michael Turpin.  Karen Brown and Turpin's wife, Elizabeth, were also convicted of murder and were denied parole in recent years.

Last Monday, Turpin's family told the parole board that they are still in deep pain 31 years later and asked that Bouchard serve out a life sentence.
