LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Tates Creek High School athletic officials have announced the resignation of the school's head football coach.

Antoine Sims leaves after four season as head coach.

"Coach Sims has been named through FCPS Law Enforcement as the new sergeant at Bryan Station High School," according to a statement issued Wednesday by Tates Creek High School Athletic Director John Dixon.

Dixon said Sims' resignation is effective Wednesday and that a search for a new coach has begun.

Sims recently completed his fourth season heading up Commodore Football, marking a 9-3 record and winning the district championship.
