Several Arrested In Drug Trafficking Bust

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)-- Police have arrested several Lexington residents for illegal possession of firearms and trafficking drugs.

According to the arrest citations, police executed a search warrant Wednesday at a residence on Chippendale Circle. 

Upon arrival they found "more than five people, including a minor" with drugs and seven firearms, four of which were stolen.

Ramondo Taylor, 19, was arrested and charged with engaging in organized crime, possession of handgun by a convicted felon, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin), and unlawful transaction with a minor. 

Cary Wilkerson Jr., 19, was arrested and charged with engaging in organized crime, possession of handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property (firearm), trafficking in marijuana, and unlawful transaction with a minor. 

Bre'Ayna McDowell, 21, was arrested and charged with engaging in organized crime and unlawful transaction with a minor.

Daryl Stewart, 19, was arrested and charged with engaging in organized crime, possession of handgun by a convicted felon, and unlawful transaction with a minor.

All were lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
