Man Indicted In Clark Co. Teen Deaths Proclaims Innocence

Posted: Updated:

(LEX 18) — Two more people were indicted in connection with the November shooting deaths of two Clark County teenagers.

That brings a total of eight defendants in this situation.

One of them, who still hasn't been arrested, called LEX 18 Friday to say he is being wrongfully accused.

"I was watching LEX 18 News," said Brian McIntosh, "and I saw that Brian McIntosh and another person was indicted on charges of hindering."

That's how McIntosh says he found out he was facing charges. McIntosh called LEX 18 on Friday to say police are targeting the wrong person.

"They keep harassing me over something I had nothing to do with," McIntosh said, "and every time they try to find something on me, they can't find nothing to do with it."

But a grand jury decided otherwise. McIntosh is charged with hindering the apprehension of Matthew Carmen, who police say was one of the people who fired shots the night Kayla Holland and Adriana Castro were killed.

McIntosh says Carmen was in his home at some point but said he believes his brother-in-law allowed that to happen.

"The night of the shooting, I left a voicemail from my mom's house, so the number's right there," McIntosh says. "It shows I was in Breathitt County."

McIntosh hasn't been arrested yet. He says he's not hiding from police. During his call into LEX 18 he spotted an officer and became emotional.

"I don't want to go to jail for something I had nothing to do with," he said.
