Young UK Fan Moved To Tears After Getting Tickets For Christmas

Posted: Updated:

LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (LEX 18) - A young Anderson County boy was moved to tears by a thoughtful gift on Christmas Eve.

Chelsey Caldwell posted the video of her son to her Facebook page. The young UK fan's mouth drops when he gets tickets to the UK vs Texas A&M game.

"My boss gave them to me. I asked him earlier in the season if he could give me tickets, to take him to see a Kentucky game. And he approached me Thursday and asked me if I wanted them," said Phillip Caldwell, the young fan's father.

Braydon Caldwell loves basketball. His favorite player is Stephen Curry, but his favorite team is UK. This will be his first game at Rupp Arena.

"It's something that me and him can enjoy together. We both like basketball, and I just like seeing him have a passion for something," said Phillip. "He wants to play basketball, watch it. I mean, as long as he enjoys the experience and has a good time, that's really the only thing that matters to me."
