LEXINGTON, Ky (LEX 18) Christmas may be over, but Christmas shoppers are still out and about the day after.

Santa doesn't always get things right, so many are getting a jump on returning or swapping out some gifts.

The customer service line at Best Buy in Hamburg stayed busy Tuesday as customers filed in with their gift receipts. According to the National Retail Federation, nearly two-thirds of holiday shoppers turned at least one item this past season.

Father and son John Rhodes Senior and John Rhodes Jr. told LEX 18 they had a few places to go to as soon as the shops opened so they could get back to spending Christmas vacation with their loved ones.

"If you fail to plan you plan to fail so we wanted to be successful in returning our gifts so that we can do some other things," said the father.
