Posted: Updated:

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) -  One man was taken into police custody after someone fired shots into a vehicle. The man arrested was not the shooter, but rather the victim.

The call of shots fired was reported at 7th and Broadway. Officers responded and found a man whose car was full of bullet holes a few blocks away on 12th street.

The target of the gunfire was taken into custody after police say they found something in his car. The shooter is still at large but police have not released the suspect's description.
