Russell County Coroner's Office Investigating Fire Death

RUSSELL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) - The Russell County Coroner's Office is investigating a person killed in a house fire in Jamestown.

The coroner said in a statement that a body was found after a home caught fire on the 100 block of Popplewell Street at about 12:30a.m. Thursday.

The man has been identified as Bobbie Jo Bolin, the coroner determined the cause of death to be thermal injuries. 

The coroner reports that a death investigation is ongoing.
