ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)-- The Mount Vernon Fire Department is asking people to keep a family in their prayers after a house fire.
A Facebook post from the fire department says it happened about 6:30 a.m. Sunday on Chestnut Ridge Road.
The department says they arrived to see the residence heavily involved. After an aggressive attack on the flames, conditions continued to worsen.
There were no injuries reported.
Brodhead and Livingston fire departments also responded to fight the blaze.
WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) - The interstate is about to get a little sticky this morning. A semi carrying a load of popsicles has crashed on I-64 near milemarker 60. A witness tells LEX 18 that a car ran one semi off the road and caused it to crash into a second semi that was sitting on the shoulder. No one was injured. Unfortunately, popsicles have covered the roadway. Crews are working to clear the scene. Versailles Police are responding.
