PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)  - A fire department in Hazard is asking motorists to use caution in one area as they hand out bottled water to residents affected by outages.

County Line Outreach, beside of Ben's Quick Stop on Highway 28, will be handing out water to those without from Noon until 6 p.m. Thursday. The Grapevine/Chavies Volunteer Fire Department encourages motorists to be careful in the area as a lot of cars will be lining up to get the water.

Perry County Schools are out due to the water outages. Several counties in Eastern Kentucky are dealing with water issues following last week's freezing temperatures.
