Stalled Car Destroyed By Passing Semi

Posted: Updated:

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)-- A driver had a close call when a semi slammed into a stopped car on I-75 northbound, sending it flying across the road.

Kentucky State Police say the driver called for help after their car stalled near mile marker 136.

The driver then stepped out of the vehicle, which was stuck in the right lane of the interstate.

A short time later, the semi crashed into the vehicle. Police say the driver of the semi likely didn't see the car because no lights were turned on.

No one was inside that car at the time.
