WILLIAMSTOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) - Although the vast majority of the new Ted Bundy biopic has been shot in Cincinnati, star Zac Efron has been spotted in Williamstown, Ky.
Officials with the courthouse told LEX 18 that Efron is filming scenes there Thursday. The movie, called "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile" is the story of serial killer Ted Bundy as told by his former girlfriend.
Bundy admitted to killing 36 women, though officials believe that the total is actually much higher. He is most infamous for the Florida State University's "Chi Omega" killings. He escaped jail twice before his trial but was eventually executed in 1989.
Efron posted a behind the scenes photo, showing the actor's eerie similarity to Bundy.
Most recently, Cincinnati has served as the locations for most of the shoots. Williamstown Police noted that traffic could be affected by the shoot, but that they were so excited to accommodate the filmmakers.
