Police Respond To Numerous Accidents Overnight

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)-- Sunday night's winter weather has caused several accidents across the city.

Police are reporting that between 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. there were two injury collisions, 35 non-injury collisions, 20 motorist assists, one escort and five traffic hazards. 

They say the worst of the roads happened between midnight at 1 am.

The attached photo is from a wreck on High Street just before 4 a.m. Monday morning. 

Police say the driver was speeding, lost control and flipped.

The driver is not injured.
