Pulaski Co. Man Accused Of Shooting At Truck

Posted: Updated:

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Pulaski County family is thankful their kids are safe and unharmed after a man allegedly fired shots at their truck on Saturday. The man is now out of jail, and the people of Eubank are concerned.

Patricia Baugh's 18-year-old son and his 12-year-old sister were travelling in a truck down Ben Thompson Road on Saturday night when they decided to turn around in a nearby driveway. The daughter says that when they did, she saw a man walking towards them with a gun.

The two ducked and, they say, a bullet when through the cab of the truck.

The man who allegedly shot at their truck is 65-year-old Danny Conley. Neighbors say that they heard at least six shots fired.

"I think it would have gone through Andrew's head. His head is right above the headrest. The bullet grazed the headrest. There's no doubt in my mind it would have killed him," said Baugh.

Neighbors tell LEX 18 that they've heard stories of Conley pulling guns on people and threatening them for driving down the road before. He was arrested, but bonded out Tuesday.

The police chief in Eubank warns anyone travelling down Ben Thompson Road to be cautious, that Conley is very protective of his property.
