EKU Student Arrested On Sexual Assault, Imprisonment Charges

Posted: Updated:

RICHMOND, Ky. (The Richmond Register)-- An Eastern Kentucky University student has been arrested after he allegedly held a girl against her will on campus Friday.

According to the Richmond Register, a female victim gave a statement to EKU Police, stating Keysean Alford, 18, of Homestead, Fla., had been at her dorm room drinking alcohol and hanging out. When the victim walked Alford out, she said he grabbed her forcefully near the residence hall elevators and tried to pull her into a lounge area. Despite the victim telling Alford to stop, the citation says he replied, “I know you want it.”

Alford admitted to police that he had physical contact with the victim, that she had told him to stop three times and he had "held her” for three to four minutes, according to his arrest citation. He also stated his behavior was inappropriate.

Alford is facing charges of first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree unlawful imprisonment.
