Crime Stoppers: Men Accused In Multiple Robberies

Posted: Updated:

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington Police say that two men went on a crime spree across the city the weekend of Jan. 13 and 14.

"Not only did he rob these businesses and put these clerks in danger, but he also robbed an individual who was on his way into a business at gunpoint very clearly," said Detective Mark Thomas.

Four separate locations were hit back in January, three gas stations and a Hibbett Sports on Richmond Road. Thomas said that each of the robberies are felonies.

Each occurrence happened close to an interstate ramp, leading police to wonder if the men are from out of town.

The men were wearing jackets with a logo on it. Police do not recognize the logo but hope that someone may be able to tell them what it is.
