Animal Shelter Gets New Transport Van Following Accident

Posted: Updated:

CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)-- The Clark County Animal Shelter finally has a new transport van after months of fundraising.

Back in January their transport van crashed while on the road in Pennsylvania.

The van is used to transport animals at the shelter to their new homes via out-of-state adoptions.

Friends of the Clark County Animal Shelter helped raise the funds for the van and are continuing to fund raise to support the expense of transporting animals, maintenance of the van and additional support of low cost spay and neuter services.

Donations to FOCCAS are tax deductible and 100 percent of the donation will be used to help animals locally.
