LAUREL COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) - London Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man believed to be involved with a stolen vehicle investigation.

Police were called to the Speedway on North Main Street on Saturday. They were told a white man wearing a baseball cap, red shorts, white shirt and black hoodie approached a running, dark green 1999 Toyota 4-Runner in the parking lot. The keys had been left inside and the suspect entered the vehicle. Police say the victim ran outside and tried to get the man out of the vehicle. The victim was then dragged a few feet in the parking lot before the suspect got away with the vehicle, heading north on Main Street.

The vehicle has black tape over the rear hatch keyhole, a silver license plate cover with tribal markings and the right rear tail light is cracked. London Police are continuing to search for the male and vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information regarding the male or vehicle, please call the London Police Department at 606-878-7004 or call Dispatch at 606-878-7000.
