Vehicle Veers Off Road, Hits Lexington Pool Business

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)-- Three people are injured after the driver of a vehicle drove into a business. 

It happened around 10:30 a.m. at Suntime Pools on Palumbo Drive.

The fire department says the vehicle was heading towards New Circle Road, when it veered off, hit a tree, and went into the building. 

There were three people in the car at the time, all have minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. 

The owner of the business was the only person inside the store when it happened. 

Major damage is done to the building, which will be boarded up until repairs can be made. 

As of now, they are not sure if criminal charges will be filed.

    LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)-- Police are investigating after a juvenile was robbed early Monday morning in Lexington. It happened around 2:45 a.m. in the Tatesbrook Drive area. Police say the juvenile attempted to buy drugs from four suspects when they attacked him and took his money. He suffered minor injuries. No word on the whereabouts of the suspects.
