    A man charged with shooting a police officer at the Stanford Walmart has pleaded guilty and mentally ill. Police say Jackie Murphy shot an officer in August 2012 after he was caught shoplifting. He was charged with wanton endangerment. His sentencing date is Feb. 14, 2014.
