Police say the deputy shot during a traffic stop in Marion County has died.
Kentucky State Police say Deputy Anthony Rakes stopped a blue 2007 Kia driven by Dewayne Shipp, 49, along US-68 around 2 a.m. Police say Shipp shot Rakes during the stop and then took off toward Boyle County.
