Police have blocked off Armstrong Mill at Tates Creek Road as officers deal with a standoff situation at the Fox and Hound Apartments.
Police say a suicidal man is inside one of the apartments, possibly armed with a gun.
As a precaution, staff put a nearby daycare on lockdown.
