A pedestrian suffered serious injuries when a car hit him as he crossed a Winchester Street Tuesday night.
Witnesses say the driver of the car swerved to miss a man crossing Oxford Drive around 9 p.m., but could not avoid the victim. The car hit the man and then crashed into a building.
