Posted 5:46 PM 9/23/2012 : Powell County Shooting Victim Identified

Kentucky State Police say a Powell County woman was shot and killed by her boyfriend early Sunday morning.

The shooting happened at around 5 a.m. on Lower Cane Creek Road outside Stanton.

Police say the suspect, 66-year-old Ralph Allyn, was the one who notified police.
