Angel Tree: Making Christmas Dreams Come True

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — This year it is easier than ever to help a child have a wonderful Christmas thanks to Central Kentucky Walmart stores.

Walmart is partnering with the Lexington Salvation Army and LEX 18 for this year's Angel Tree. If you can't swing by the Fayette Mall by Dec. 2, to adopt an angel, you can visit any participating Walmart locations to either pick up an angel or donate toys to be given to needy children.

Toys can be dropped of until Dec. 18.

Participating Walmart locations include Hamburg, North Park and Nicholasville Road in Lexington, Richmond, Frankfort, Georgetown, Harrodsburg, Lawrenceburg and Nicholasville.

As of Thursday, there are approximately 340 angels left to be adopted.
