LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Searching for a job under any circumstances can be a grind, but anyone in that position right now is facing the challenge of a lifetime.
John Coffee has worked in human resource consulting for 15 years. His career has been spent getting people to work, so he thought he might have some unique experience for those in need right now.
"I just saw the need, and it just kind of spoke to my heart and I just felt we really need to do something. It's a call to action," Coffee explained.
Coffee and his employer, Lexington-based Hanna Resource Group, have put together a five-part webinar series called "Job Hunting In A Pandemic: A Survival Guide to Rejoining the Workforce."
From there they touch on resume dos and don'ts, they will get insight on who is hiring right now, interviewing tips for this digital world and many other relevant topics. The series is free, and anyone can join at any time. The webinar can also be watched live or at your own convenience. Coffee said it is their goal to make this as accessible and helpful as possible.
"We said we're not trying to make money on this. We just think this is a great community service. Who in our network can we get involved to be a partner and help us get some good information out there," Coffee said.
