LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Lexington Art League and Parks and Recreation Department wrapped up the 44th annual Woodland Art Fair on Sunday.
This year they had 203 vendors take part in the fair.
They had all types of artists including photographers, sculptors, painters and drawers.
There was also local food vendors, live entertainment and family friendly activities.
One thing that was different from previous fairs was having more homegrown artists.
“I really wanted to focus on trying to bring in more Kentucky artists really supporting locally that's the new Lexington Art League mission and has returned local art. So I really wanted to include a few more Kentucky artists we have in the past,” said Events Director of Lexington Adrienne Dixon.
Dixon says this year's fair was the biggest turn out she's seen.
