GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) — US 460 was shut down for hours Monday after a fatal multi-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.

The crash happened in Scott County near the intersection of 460 and Crumbaugh Road. Police say a motorcyclist was headed down Paris Pike when an SUV turning off Crumbaugh struck the bike. Police say the driver of the SUV did stop at the stop sign, but didn't see the motorcyclist when pulling out onto Paris Pike.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital where he died. The Scott County Coroner has identified the man as 26-year-old Gregory Sharon, of Paris. The coroner said Sharon leaves behind two young children.

No charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
