If you could get past the heat, this weekend really was a spectacular one! Almost everyone stayed dry and it wasn't all that humid. Hopefully you were able to enjoy it with some time outside! Heading into the new week there's a little something for everyone temperature-wise. For fans of the heat, you'll have two more days to enjoy it. Highs will be in the lower 90s to start the week. Still not too humid tomorrow, but you'll start to feel the muggies again on Tuesday. These hot days will be the definition of a perfect summer day with sunshine.
The return of storm chances will trigger a cool down. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will begin late Tuesday night and linger through the end of the week. Temperatures will gradually cool down. Instead of the 90s we'll be in the 80s. In fact highs will be closer to 80° by next weekend. Those are some "not-so dog days."
