Hopefully you found a way to enjoy today's sunshine and milder temperatures. Our weather story is about to get a little more interesting. Tomorrow kicks off a parade of systems that will march through the Bluegrass. Clouds will take over and some rain showers will develop across eastern Kentucky. There may be a brief period of freezing rain for the higher elevations. Rain will become more widespread as the day goes on.

Things will get a little more interesting over the weekend. Overall the forecast remains dreary. Some moments of rain and snow are possible. The best chances will come through the day on Saturday. Any flakes that do fly will be at night. Activity will fizzle into early Sunday before picking back up late in the day. The finale comes early next week with precipitation more of the wintry variety and another blast of Arctic air.
