It will be a perfect night for football in Lexington! We should see a few more rays of sunshine before kickoff. Skies will continue to clear throughout the game. Definitely cooler than last week with a kickoff temperature in the mid 70s. Let's Go Cats!

Clouds have been a little stubborn to clear around the Bluegrass today as high pressure nudges in. The gradual clearing trend will continue overnight with patchy fog and lows in the upper 50s. We'll close out the weekend with a fairly typical early September day. We'll be milder with highs in the lower 80s and a touch of humidity under a mix of sun and clouds. After a couple of cooler days the pattern will flip into the new work week. A ridge will set up across the Southeast sending heat and the muggies back to the Bluegrass. Highs will climb into the upper 80s Monday before settling into the 90s through late week. Summer isn't over yet, friends!
