Wellness workshops, fitness classes, and activities are scheduled throughout the day. -

Southland Jamboree is a free Bluegrass Music Concert on Thursday evenings during the summer at 7 p.m. at the Moondance Amphitheater in Beaumont Center. This special Patriotic Edition will feature Six String Soldiers U.S. Army Band. Food is available for purchase from food trucks, but you can also bring your picnic and cooler. 50th Annual Bluegrass 10,000, 5K and Fun Run
5K Race: 7:30 a.m.
Fun Run: 8:30 a.m.
9 a.m. – Awards Ceremony for overall 10K winners
9:30 a.m. – Ceremony for additional awards in 10K, 5K, Fun Run and spirit awards
The Bluegrass 10,000 is a USATF-certified 10K course in downtown Lexington. The 5K is a shorter course using part of the 10K route which runs at the same time as the 10K. The Fun Run is a 1-mile course running through downtown, into Thoroughbred Park, and joining with the Bluegrass 10,000 for the finish. The races kick off the day’s Fourth of July festivities. -

Happy Birthday, America! Everyone is invited to gather on the stairs of the old Historic Lexington Courthouse to commemorate the reading of the founding document of the United States. Those in attendance will be invited to read aloud a short portion of the Declaration. -
