FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) - — Attorney General Andy Beshear's running mate got an unexpected surprise this election season ... and it has nothing to do with her campaign.
Jacqueline Coleman and her husband, Chris, announced that the she is expecting a new baby.
"Most of the blessings in my life have been completely unexpected. So keeping with that theme, Chris and I will be welcoming the newest member of Team Beshear/Coleman in February! And she is obviously going to make one heck of a shooting guard! " wrote the Lt. Gov hopeful, while holding up a onesie that reads 'Beshear: Democrat for Governor."
Coleman is an educator and has teamed up with the current Attorney General to face off against incumbent Governor Bevin and Dr. Ralph Alvarado in the November gubernatorial race.
