OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — The Louisville-Auburn game at the College World Series will resume Wednesday after being suspended after the fourth inning because of rain. The Cardinals led Auburn 4-1 when the TD Ameritrade Park grounds crew rolled the tarp over the field. The Vanderbilt-Mississippi State game scheduled for Tuesday night and regularly scheduled game between Texas Tech and Florida State will follow.

UNDATED (AP) — Texas’ Jaxson Hayes headlines the list of big men in the NBA draft. Hayes is a lottery prospect after spending one season with the Longhorns. Gonzaga’s Brandon Clarke, Kentucky’s PJ Washington and Oregon’s Bol Bol are also among the top prospects, particularly with Washington and Bol able to step out of the paint. Other names to watch include international prospect Goga Bitadze, Georgia’s Nicolas Claxton and Maryland’s Bruno Fernando.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators have hired Rob Scuderi, Sebastien Bordeleau and Dave Rook as development coaches to help polish their prospects for the NHL. Scuderi will develop defensemen while Bordeleau will work with forwards and Rook with goaltenders. They will work with Scott Nichol, the Predators’ director of player development and general manager of their AHL franchise Milwaukee. Scuderi retired from the NHL in 2016 after 12 years and 783 career games with the Penguins, the Kings and Blackhawks.
