OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Michigan’s Erik Bakich says Vanderbilt’s Tim Corbin has been the biggest influence on him as he’s gone through his coaching career. Bakich was a Vandy assistant for seven years until 2009. Corbin says he’s proud of what Bakich has accomplished. Now he wants to beat his protege when Michigan and Vanderbilt meet in the best-of-three College World Series finals.
