(AP) — Former Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Adam Edelen says his primary campaign attacks will make his one-time rival Andy Beshear a tougher candidate in his quest to unseat Kentucky’s Republican governor in the November election. Beshear and Edelen appeared together at a Louisville coffee shop on Wednesday to show a united front against GOP Gov. Matt Bevin.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — As a gun-rights supporter, Michael Paul Wolfgar Lewis sided with Kentucky lawmakers when they relaxed gun laws to let people carry a concealed firearm without a permit or training. HONOLULU (AP) — All 11 people on board a skydiving plane died when it crashed and burned at a small airfield north of Honolulu last week. It was the worst civilian aviation accident in the U.S. since 2011. The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s office has identified seven victims. Family members have confirmed the deaths of two others.
