As if heading back to work after Thanksgiving wasn't hard enough, now we're adding snow to the mix. Rain showers will develop this evening, then change over to snow after midnight. Be prepared for some slick spots as you head out the door tomorrow morning. Scattered snow showers will linger into the afternoon.
Accumulations will be light. Generally around half an inch for the Bluegrass. Amounts will pick up to the south. The rest of the area could see up to an inch. Up to 3" are possible for the highest elevations of southeastern Kentucky. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for areas south and southeast of Lexington, where travel impacts are possible.
