LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — LEX 18 was told that the benefit concert for victims of Lincoln County's deadly gas line explosion raised more than $3,000.

There was food, music and dancing late into the night at the "Rock Cares Festival."

Nine bands teamed up for the concert and they got permission to use the fairgrounds free of charge, meaning all $3,200 they raised could go to help with recovery.

One woman was killed, five more were hurt and several homes were damaged by the explosion that happened on August 1.
