FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Governor Andy Beshear's Office provided an update late Saturday afternoon that four additional Coronavirus tests came back negative.
The governor spoke at the Capitol earlier on Saturday about protocols to follow and recommendations in light of the first confirmed Coronavirus case being reported in Kentucky.
The governor emphasized that it's not time to panic, but time to prepare.
State officials had previously said ten people had been tested for COVID-19 with one coming back positive, nine coming back negative. The governor's office has announced that four more samples came back negative as of late Saturday.
The condition of the person with the positive diagnosis is said to be improving at University of Kentucky Medical Center.
